Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your information if you use the contact form on this site. This is a personal portfolio site, not a business collecting data for commercial purposes, and it's built to collect as little as possible.

What I collect

When you submit the contact form, I collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• A subject line, if you provide one
• The message you write

That's it — the form doesn't ask for anything else, and nothing is collected from you just by browsing the site.

What I do with it

Your submission is sent as an email to me, so I can read and reply to you. A short confirmation email is also sent back to the address you provided, letting you know I received your message.

There is no database. Your name, email, and message are not stored anywhere by this site beyond the time it takes to send those two emails. Once sent, the only copies that exist are in your inbox and mine — the same as if you'd emailed me directly.

Anti-spam checks

To keep the form from being flooded by bots, a few automated checks run before your message is sent:

• A Cloudflare Turnstile challenge verifies you're a real visitor, not a script. This involves Cloudflare briefly processing technical signals (like your IP address and browser characteristics) — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• The server temporarily keeps your IP address and the time of your submission in memory, purely to limit how many messages can be sent in a short period. This is never written to disk, is automatically cleared within minutes to hours, and is not linked to your name or email.

Third parties involved

Sending this form through means your data briefly passes through:

• Resend (email delivery) — processes your name, email, and message in order to deliver the emails. See Resend's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare (Turnstile verification, and hosting for this site's frontend via Cloudflare Pages) — see above.
• Render (backend hosting) — like most hosting providers, may keep standard server access logs (e.g., IP address, request time) for operational and security purposes. See Render's privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie as part of verifying you're not a bot; this is used solely for that purpose.

Your choices

If you'd like me to delete an email you sent through this form, just ask — email me directly at mohd.rehan422005@gmail.com and I'll remove it from my inbox.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated to reflect that.
